Hello, fellow carfters
On this Valentine's day, I am sharing a slimline card that can easily also be an engagement or a wedding card, with a different sentiment.
The folded card base is 10,5 x 21 cm, white shimmer cardstock.
I added two layers of stitched rectangle die-cuts, for which I used Tutti designs rectangular die set.
Using the three largest hearts from the Studio Light die set SL-ES-CD8, I cut one each in white shimmer cardstock and 1 each from silver mirror cardstock. The white hearts were adhered to the silver hearts, slightly offset, to show only a tiny bit of silver.
The pretty flowers were from my stash of flowers on my desk. The larger double ones were created using heartfelt Creations' climbing clematis stamp, die and mould set. They were stamped with archival deep purple ink on plain smooth white cardstock, then coloured with the same ink (2 petals on each flower) an archival cactus flower (3 petals on each flower). The smaller flowers were made using the floral stamp and die from Heartfelt Creations curvy floral frame set - stamped in archival cactus flower and coloured with the same ink.
The flowers and leaves (from stash on my desk) were arranged and adhered to teh card, before adding a sentiment die-cut from silver mirror cardstock.
Thank you for stopping by. Happy crafting, until next time.
Marie Smith
