Perfect moments single scrapbook page

When you have a variety of foamiran flowers ready in your stash, it is quick and easy to complete a layout.
I used mixed media embossing powder on the chipboard heart that peeks out behind the top right corner of the photo.
Foamiran and silk flowers have been in my stash for some time. The page was completed by adding leaves, gems tulle and twin.
This page is part of a bumper scrapbook kit, which can be bought in our online store https://www.purplemagnolia.co.za/products/perfect-moments-scrapbook-kit
Happy crafting, until next time.

Mixed media box in cool colours

It is so much fun to just let your creativity flow with mixed media products, where you can literally use anything as embellishments on your project.
I used a round box bought from a craft store and glued down all kinds of embellishments - metal cameo, pieces from very cheap dress jewellery (that no respected woman will ever wear), metal castings, plastic rose, etc. Then I applied gesso, acrylic paints, glimmer and shimmer sprays, glitter, mica flakes and waxes.
Happy crafting until next time.

Such beauty single page layout in grey and peach

Marie Smith created this single page, using the Hello spring paper with soft grey background and very fine, lacy design. This muted paper is the perfect background for the special photo and the floral arrangement with flowers made from foamiran and silk foam. Though they seem to be complicated, it takes less than 10 minutes to make one of these large flowers.

You are invited to attend Marie’s class in Pretoria, South Africa, on 22 February. You will learn to make the foamiran flowers, receive tips on arranging the flowers in a visually-pleasing manner on your page, and learn the special technique that was used to decorate the chipboard window.

Wildlife adventure spiral mini album

Mini albums are perfect for recording memories of a special trip, adventure, holiday or special day.
This album kit is perfect for recording your memories of an outdoor adventure or a holiday in one of South Africa’s beautiful National Parks with all our indigenous wildlife.

I just love these spiral mini albums stocked by The Purple Magnolia. They have thick chipboard pages and the large spiral rings allow for lots of inserts into the mini album.
On the cover, I used a burlap flower that I made, as well as a protea - South Africa’s national flower, that I made from foamiran.
I used Fabscraps papers from the Call of the Wild and the Wild and Free collections.
Here are a few shots from pages inside the album.

I will be teaching this class on 15 February. Contact me by WhatsApp 0832990484 if you wish to attend.
Happy crafting
